10" Portable Thicknesser
The Fox F22-561 10” portable thicknesser is an idea machine for both in the workshop and on site. Benefitting from a 1500W (2hp) motor, it powers both in - and outfeed rollers and a two-blade cutterblock, providing a 254 x 153mm planing capacity. A feed rate of 8m/min, coupled with a block speed of 8000rpm and a maximum plane depth per pass of 2.5mm offers a first class finish with minimum time outlay and effort.
Planing height adjustment is via a conveniently placed top handle, which raises or lowers the low friction stainless steel planing bed on four steel columns. An easy to view scale provides readings in both metric and imperial. The pivoting in - and outfeed tables are enhanced with a precision roller, aiding entry and exit of the timber workpiece. Two rollers also feature integrally in the top planer housing to simplify timber handling when making multiple passes. For a lasting precision planing performance, two resharpenable HSS knives are supplied as standard. Easy to transport, this machine weighs only 32kg and has two recessed
handles.
